Pound Green and Button Oak are neighbouring villages on the Shropshire/ Worcestershire border about 6.5 miles from Kidderminster. The Community Hall is situated in Pound Green opposite Ye Olde New Inn.
Pound Green & Button Oak Community Hall is a registered charity, No. 202336 managed by trustees for the provision of services and facilities for the benefit of the local community. Under the terms of the charity, the trustees act jointly in the administration of the hall and receive no remuneration for their services.
With the help of a Lotto grant, the recently refurbished hall has excellent facilities including a fully equipped kitchen, ladies and gents toilets with disabled access and a small meeting room as well as the main hall. There is a carpark at the front and side of the hall.
Pound Green & Button Oak Community Hall has many regular events open to the whole community.
The hall and/or the small room can be hired at £7.00 per hour for private functions such as wedding receptions, birthday and anniversary parties, children’s parties, dances, craft fairs, quizzes and other events.
